Mr. Ashish Uttamchandani Group Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer

Mr. Ashish Uttamchandani

Ashish is a results-oriented senior executive leveraging over 15 years of experience in leadership, strategy, general management, technology, business development and consulting across various industries, including security, hospitality, ICT, distribution, retail, technology and manufacturing. Experience and a proven track record of managing P&Ls, growing revenue and EBITA, launching strategic initiatives, managing large/multi-year projects, driving market share growth and helping organizations to solve complex business challenges. Currently, he holds the position of Group Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at the ASSL Group. In this role, he directs strategy, operations, and business development for a varied portfolio of Caribbean-based companies within the ASSL Group, spanning investments in Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Hospitality, and Property Management. Before joining the ASSL Group, he served as the Assistant Vice President and CTO for the Massy Integrated Retail Portfolio. In that capacity, he provided strategic guidance and oversight for Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, and eCommerce initiatives, covering both the Caribbean and the USA. Areas of Expertise Include: - Corporate Strategy - Mergers & Acquisitions - Business Development - Technology Strategy, Change Management & Project Management - General Management and P&L Leadership - Industry experience in ICT, Security, Retail & Distribution, Insurance, Manufacturing and CPG - International / CALA Experience - eCommerce He is a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies in the areas of Leadership & New Venture Development. He is also a member of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce’s Digital Societies Committee. He was a columnist for the Barbados Business Authority and the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation and sat on several non-profit boards including the Project Management Institute Barbados, and was an advisor with the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation. Ashish holds a MBA from Durham University Business School, UK and a MSC. Change and Development from the University of Manchester, UK. He holds a Diploma in Professional Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute, UK. In his spare time, Ashish enjoys reading, travelling and performing research in culture and change management.

Robert Baur Regional Development Manager

Robert Baur

Robert Baur is the Regional Development Manager at Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) and its Caribbean subsidiaries and associated or related companies. His primary responsibility are the operations in the Caribbean countries other than Trinidad and Tobago. Robert has 11+ years of experience in security and risk management activities in Trinidad and Tobago as well as the wider Caribbean region. <br><br> As a customer centric manager, his main focus is on understanding the unique needs and preferences of customers across diverse markets within the region in order to align the ASSL Group of Companies’ business strategies with the ever-evolving demands of our clientele. He is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences by prioritizing customer satisfaction and building trust through transparent communication and reliable support. Robert doesn’t believe in just being a supplier but aims at cultivating long-lasting partnerships that drive mutual growth and success for both, the ASSL Group of Companies and our customers in the wider Caribbean region. <br><br> Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in German linguistics with a focus on journalism, marketing and PR from the Otto-Friedrich-University, Bamberg, Germany. As well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Anglia Ruskin University.

Mr. Renold Hadaway General Manager

Mr. Renold Hadaway

Mr. Renold Hadaway is the General Manager at Amalgamated Security Services (St Vincent) Limited. Mr. Hadaway is a former Commissioner of Police having been appointed in an acting capacity from August 01, 2016 and retired from that post in May 2018. He served in the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force for a period of 36 years. During his Police career he was the officer in charge of the Police Training School and also the officer in charge of the Special Services Unit. Commissioner (Ag.) Hadaway also served as an Instructor at the Regional Security System in Barbados. In addition he was part of the Caricom Peacekeeping missions in both Grenada and Haiti. During his policing career, he attended several training courses regionally and internationally, most notable being Small Arms Repairs in the USA, Internal Security Instructor in Barbados, Range Officer Qualification in Barbados, Psychological Operation in the USA and Human Rights International Humanitarian Law in Jamaica. Further, Commissioner (Ag.) Hadaway pursued studies and was awarded his LLB (Hons.) Degree in Law from the University of Huddersfield in 2010. He was also the Chairman of the Search and Rescue Committee, the Cadet Advisory Board Committee and sits as a member on the Firearms Board and the Anti-Money Laundering Committee.

Ms. Pamela Stephens-James Accountant

Ms. Pamela Stephens-James

Ms. Pamela Stephens-James is the Accountant at Amalgamated Security Services (St Vincent) Limited. Ms. Stephens-James is the holder of a Diploma in Management Studies from the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and is a Certified Chartered Accountant. Pamela has been operating in the accounting field for over 20 years.
